The fitness criteria for GCC countries are determined by the concerned Embassy or Ministry of each GCC state. Applicants are assessed based on the following general health standards:

Free from communicable diseases including Tuberculosis (TB), Hepatitis B & C, HIV/AIDS, and other infectious conditions.
Physically and mentally fit for employment.
No evidence of drug abuse.
Chest X-ray clearance required for all applicants above 15 years.
Blood tests to screen for communicable diseases.

Final fitness determination is made by the Panel Physician in accordance with GCC guidelines.
